Pittsburg State University Joins Forces with MMTH to Become a MMTH 360 School

Pittsburg State joins University of Kansas as a member of MMTH 360

Meriden, Kan. — Pittsburg State University (PSU) today announced a groundbreaking alliance with MMTH (pronounced “Mammoth”), becoming the latest institution to join the MMTH 360 program—a comprehensive, future-focused solution designed to help collegiate athletic departments thrive in an era of rapid change.

This strategic move positions PSU at the forefront of innovation in college athletics, aligning with MMTH’s vision to deliver transformative solutions across facilities, operations, student-athlete experience, and fan engagement.

“We’re not just preparing for the future of college athletics—we’re helping to build it,” said Jim Johnson, Vice-President for Intercollegiate Athletics for Pittsburg State University. “MMTH 360 gives us the tools, resources, insights, and confidence to continue to elevate every aspect of our athletic program. From student-athlete success to facility excellence, this alliance is a game-changer for Gorilla Nation.”

MMTH 360 is a vertically integrated service model that provides athletic departments with a single, customized experience—combining consulting, construction, operations, branding, and more. With a proven track record of success at institutions ranging from high schools to Power 4 universities, MMTH brings unmatched expertise and agility to the table.

“To compete in today’s collegiate environment, you can’t just keep up—you have to lead,” said Jake Farrant, Founder and CEO of MMTH. “Pittsburg State is a leader nationally as well at the conference level in the toughest Division II conference in the country. Their commitment to student-athletes, community, and innovation makes them an ideal MMTH 360 school.”

As part of the MMTH 360 rollout, PSU will have access to a comprehensive evaluation of its athletics ecosystem. This could include program feasibility studies, master planning, facility upgrades and maintenance, student-athlete success programming, and operational enhancements—all designed to align with the university’s broader goals for student success, community engagement, and financial sustainability.

“MMTH has been working outside of traditional boundaries to help Gorilla athletics for years,” said Johnson. “We are excited to formalize this alliance, and happy to promote the MMTH difference, which is the people and the relentless pursuit of an unprecedented fan and student-athlete experience.”

MMTH has built Pitt State’s baseball, soccer, and football fields and is currently building a first-in-class outdoor track facility that will be unmatched at the NCAA DII level.

MMTH’s next phase of work will continue to elevate student-athlete and fan experiences by exploring new revenue opportunities and supporting PSU’s recruiting and retention efforts. MMTH will be involved in Pitt State’s Silverback Fund providing scholarship opportunities for student-athletes and will also partner on the development and launch of a student-athlete year-long leadership academy for selected Gorilla student-athletes.
